Project overview
Repair of Guaraguao Port. Works included prefabrication of concrete beams and slabs; partial and complete demolition of damaged beams and slabs; reconstruction of salvageable beams; driving of 66 steel piles of 24-inch diameter and 3/8-inch thickness; installation of new prefabricated beams and slabs; and on-site pouring of topping. The project required constructing a temporary 150-meter steel dock to carry out the repair while ensuring no interference with dock unloading operations. Contract duration: 10 months.
The Challenge
